      LOL Lisa...not all houses came with a bathroom...they built an outhouse in the back and had set up a tub for bathing in the kitchen. The first house has a bathroom on the second floor.

      Sorry about that Ronnie...there are days Google just pure D sucks. :( The prices are something aren't they. As I told Lisa, many homes were built without bathrooms...the outhouse was built in the backyard and either a tub was installed in the corner of the kitchen or people had a small tub...either way, they were filled with water heated on the stove. Notice that the first house did have a bathroom on the second floor. ;)

    I'm thinking that I'd get myself into a lot less trouble if that bottom line made it's way onto a thing or two around here. Lol! Interesting but not surprised that it was part of a catalog back then. Many hugs,

    The prices look good - what it doesn't tell you is what their salaries were.

    Bottom line probably helped save a lot of bottoms. :-)

    Very interesting glimpse at life 80 years ago. I'm glad we don't have to wear those type undergarments anymore, even if they were mesh, lol! I actually like a few of those shoes though :) Wow to that last line! Things sure have changed drastically since then. Not so sure for the better either! I hope you have a very happy 4th, hugs!

      Hey stranger! Oh yes, I sure do agree...very happy we don't have to wear those undergarments anymore. Some of the shoes and clothes are cute. I agree...some changes have been for the better but some haven't. ;) Hope you have a wonderful 4th!
