Welcome to my little corner of the world where you never know what you will find! It could be anything from a joke to a funny picture to a personal rant to a favorite recipe to an awesome quote to any random "bright idea" that pops into my mind.

I absolutely never slept so this is true to my past reality. I think maybe when they turned 10 I slept through the night. lol
ReplyDeleteNow replace the baby-- and put my picture there and you will see what a mom looks like waiting up for teens and young adults!!
Know exactly where you're at now Minelle - went through it with two teens! Hang in there, it does get better. :)

I am at the in between stage- no babies, teens just 'starting'. I acutally could have a baby up half the night, at least there would be somebody there to keep ME company. Sleep only comes in small spurts now adays! LOL
ReplyDeleteOh my Wilma - sorry to hear that - hopefully you will start getting more sleep. You'll at least have a reason for being up when your "just starting teens" bet a bit older. ;)

LOL, oh I remember. My oldest daughter, she is now in her final year of rotations, never slept. I remember remarking to Ian when they would bring her in for night feedings, because in this hospital, babies were returned to the nursery at night - no exceptions, she was always so wide awake and bright. About 6 weeks into motherhood, I thought - I am going to die if I don't get some sleep.
ReplyDeleteLook at that little stinker, barely keeping his eyes awake.......:D
I was the same as your daughter Lillie - I stayed awake all night just playing in my crib. When my brother was born, my mother actually kept running in to see if he was still breathing since he slept through the night almost from day 1. :)
DeleteOf course the little stinker can barely keep his eyes open - it's daytime - time to sleep. :D
