Ooh I am definitely going to save and modify this script and use it when I start getting all the political calls!

  2. I told my toddler that a telemarketer was daddy. Since they never got to say anything over the excited squeeles all was good. I had a happy little girl.

  6. Yes marketeers are a pain in the behind. I always start with, "if I am allowed to interrupt your script, are you paid by the minute or by the phonecall. And if they say by the minute, I always say, OK lets go on with your script." There is never a need to tell them I don't want their special offer.

Those companies should understand by now this method is not working in this time and age???
    Thanks for sharing, Cat,

    1. *sigh* I don't know why these companies seem to think they have a good method...guess it's because some people love to give their opinions. They must do it differently in your country but here, telemarketers are paid by the hours they work, not by the minutes of the call.
