Caught in the Act

They were together in the House.

Just the two of them.

It was a cold, dark, stormy night.

The storm had come quickly.

Each time the thunder boomed he watched her jump.

She looked across the room and admired his strong appearance...

And wished that he would take her in his arms, comfort her and protect her from the storm.

Suddenly,

With a pop, the power went out...

She screamed...

He raced to the sofa where she was cowering...

He didn't hesitate to pull her into his arms.

He knew this was a forbidden union and expected her to pull back.

He was surprised when she didn't resist but instead clung to him.

The storm raged on....

They knew it was wrong...

Their families would never understand...

So consumed were they in their fear

that they heard no opening of doors...

just the faint click of a camera...

Happy Friday!

  2. See I knew there was a catch.....He he he! Love it!
When I lived at home, our dog and cat hated each other sooooo much that if the cat walked across the kitchen.......the huge gigantic dog of ours, scooted around the edge.

  7. Could have been our dog! She loves cats.
Her only problem in life is to find a cat, that loves her back.
I'll tell her to try again when we have a lightning storm.

  8. I knew what was coming because I'd seen it before but it is still so cute and I am sure that it has happened. My brother who lives in the east said his kitty was snuggled up in a box of sweaters in the very back of his closet. Too bad her dog friends were 12 times her size or they probably would have snuggled up with her too.

    1. I'm surprised kitty's dog friends didn't just make room in order to snuggle up with her during those storms. Hope your brother is doing ok. Have a great weekend Sunny.
