  3. Just so sweet!
The giant dog we had used to follow toddlers up our stairs and stand behind them so they didn't fall!

    1. When my boys were younger, we had a dog that wouldn't even let another child chase them - he was so protective of them. Still miss him.

  4. I agree so adorable! Our dog freaks if anyone even hugs the kids!<- but she's not normal therefore she fits in perfectly here. lol She's an attention *hore. If the kids are playing a board game on the floor, she walk over and just sit in the middle of the game!

    1. LOL - makes playing board games a challenge doesn't it Wilma. Had a cousin that was trying to race my oldest son when he was younger and our dog ran circles around the cousin and then grabbed his pant leg to keep him from chasing my son. :)

  5. Cat - I love it over here!
I LOVE these pictures! We are big pet folks with 3 doggies, and 3 kitties, a hedgehog and a bird, inside, and 3 horses and a goat outside. Pets have been a big part of the kids lives from birth. Pets, as well as being a source of unconditional love and comfort as your darling pictures show, they teach kids about empathy and responsibility.
Love this post! hugs and love lillie

    1. Good grief Lillie - you could almost start a zoo at your place. :) You are right, pets do teach our children many wonderful lessons. The patience that so many of these animals show is awesome.

      Hugs and love back atcha.

  6. Cute, cute, cute. I admit to having seen aseveral of those pictures in real life, with my kids.
They were safe from all dangers!
Not the dogs though. I remember a dog whining softly while my daughter tried to pull out her moustache. The dog did not even consider defending herself against the one year old girl.

    1. I have seen some of these situations with my boys also Bas. I always felt so sorry for my dogs when the boys were young and pulled tails and ears. Caught my youngest trying to brush the teeth and tongue of one of our dogs - bad breath ya know. LOL Poor pup just sat there with that 'help me' look in his eyes!

  7. Very Cute. I am a dog person, but we don't have a dog. But, my brother who just moved here has two labs. Just today we secured a dog walking service so that "sister" does not have to be the only other dog walker! But, back to your post...great pics. Happy weekend.
