More Disorder in the Courts

 
The following is another excerpt from the book called Disorder in the American Courts. 

Gavel and Law Books


Question: On the morning of July 25th, did you walk from the farmhouse down the footpath to the cowshed?

Answer: I did.

Question: And as a result, you passed within a few yards of the duck pond?

Answer: I did.

Question: And did you observe anything?

Answer: I did. (Witness remains silent.)


Question: Well, could you tell the Court what you saw?

Answer: I saw George.

Question: You saw George *******, the defendant in this case?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Can you tell the Court what George ******* was doing?

Answer: Yes. (Witness remains silent.)


Question: Well, would you kindly do so?

Answer: He had his thing stuck into one of the ducks.

Question: His "thing"?

Answer: You know... His thing. His di... I mean, his penis.


Question: You passed close by the duck pond, the light was good, you were sober, you have good eyesight, and you saw this clearly?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Did you say anything to him?

Answer: Of course I did!

Question: What did you say to him?


Answer: Morning, George...
