Questions and Answers...Maybe

Evidently, March is Q&A month in our little corner of blog land so if you have any questions for me, feel free to ask them in the comments section below or send me an email.

Of course, you don’t have to be a regular commenter or follower…everyone is welcome to ask.

No guarantees I will answer but you are more than welcome to ask.

    1. Good question Minelle! Don't have one or two or even ten favorite books. I love them too much and they are all old friends. ;)

  2. Hmmm, let me think. Why are you called Cat? :)

    1. LOL Stormy...I actually get that question quite a bit. My mom named me with 3 names and my dad said it was too big of a name for such a little girl so he took the initials and named me Cat! Of course, he later changed the third name to Trouble and alternated between calling me Cat and Trouble. ;)

  3. If you had the chance to redo the career part of your life, what do you see yourself doing or would it be the same path you've chosen?

If you had the opportunity to do something totally ridculous, out of character, silly etc and didn't have to worry about money, responsibilities, consquences etc., what would you do?

What is the most unusual food you've ever eaten?

I may have more as the month progresses, but those are my choices for now! :-)

    1. Ooh very interesting questions Christina. Ok will give them a shot.

      1. If I had the chance to redo my career, I would have focused more on my art...ignoring those who said it wasn't something I could ever make a living at. I may have proved them right but I also may have proved them wrong!

      2. Oh my...can't think of anything that is ridiculous or silly enough to be out of character for me. LOL If I didn't have to worry about money or responsibilities, I would probably travel by car across the US and Canada. When I was finished there, I would do the same thing in the UK, Europe and Australia.

      3. Define unusual. *teehee* In my neck of the woods, it is common to eat rabbit, squirrel, deer, quail, etc. To me, the most unusual food I've eaten was rattlesnake...nope, didn't like it. ;)

I'll be here if you have other questions!

      Blessings,

  4. Hmmm...what's your favorite movie? What's your favorite way to relax? :)

    1. Hey Grace...another good question. Like books, I can't just pick one or two...there are some that I try to watch every time they are on..."Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" with Katherine Hepburn. I'm a big John Wayne fan...some of my favorites are "Rio Bravo", "McLintock", "Sons of Katie Elder", "Hatari", "Hellfighters", "Big Jake", "McQ", "Cahill, US Marshall", "Brannigan". That's all I can think of off the top of my head but I know there are many more. LOL

Depending on my mood, I have two favorite ways to relax...the first is to fill a tub with hot water, grab a good book and turn on some favorite music. The second is to paint.

      Hope that answers your questions.

      Blessings,
      Cat

  5. I love the e card and not only have I don't more stupid stuff, I've done it longer. hahaha.

As I'm typing I'm still getting a whiff of the fresh cilantro I just used and remembered how much you like the stuff too.

? Are you getting any more of the white stuff?

    1. LOL Sunny...you are not that much older than me and I bet I have been in more trouble than you have!

Ooh cilantro...mmmm good. Here's a trick for storing cilantro...when you buy it, cut the bottoms of the stalks as you would for flowers and put in a pint jar with enough water to cover the stems but not the leaves, cover with a plastic bag and place in refrigerator...will last for several weeks.

The white stuff is melting but still looking at a lot of it and now mud...yuck. Over the weekend, we are due for 60's with rain, 40's with thunderstorms and then 30's with snow. Sheesh...make up my other mind!

Hope you're having a fun weekend with your friends.

      Blessings,
      Cat

If you could go back in time - what advice would you give yourself?

Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

    1. Hey Ronnie...happy you like the card.

If I could give my younger self any advice, it would be to listen to my instincts...the only time I ever got into serious trouble/situations was when I went against my instincts. Nope, don't do that anymore. LOL

Hope you have a wonderful weekend also!

  7. What is the best thing that you like about yourself and husband?

    1. Hey Bob...I'm not married anymore and my fiance died a little over a year ago. If you want to know more about that, you are welcome to click on the 'My Life' link on the upper right of this page and read about it...not really that interesting but feel free. LOL

Sheesh, you do ask to 'thinking' questions don't you. :) When Matthew was alive, I think the think I liked most about us was the way we 'fit' each other...our strengths/weaknesses really complimented one another. We seemed to bring out the best in each other.

Come back if you have more questions!

  8. If you had to explain bruises on your behind to a medical professional, what would you say?

    1. LOL Callie...good question! I actually did have to explain them one time. Told the doctor I slipped on the stairs and ended up going down them on my bottom...thump, thump, thump!

  9. Love the e card too. I should be well qualified to give lots of advice, lol.

Oh, I like this question thing! Let's see.......If you could wake up tomorrow and be anywhere in the world doing anything you wanted, where would you be and how would you spend the day?

    1. Will always listen to advice from you Queenie!

If I could wake up tomorrow and be anywhere, I would be on the West Coast playing with my granddaughters! Boring fantasy I know but dang, I miss the little stinkers!

  10. I have a couple, but feel free to ignore them if it's too personal.

Do you ever miss being in a TTWD/DD relationship?
Would you willing to do it again if the right person came along?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hey Dana...I wouldn't ignore you or your questions. If I thought they were too personal, I'd just send you an email.

Yes, I do miss being in a TTWD/DD relationship...do I miss the spankings...that would be a big NO but do I miss the closeness, love, support, feeling of being a team, and dynamics...that would be a big *ELL YES.

If I was ever lucky enough to meet another man who touched my heart the way Matthew did, yes I would be more than willing to enter into another TTWD/DD relationship. It's not easy when you've been in one....expectations, 'rules', tolerances, etc. are different but it is definitely worth it. Actually, I'm not sure I could comfortably enter another relationship that wasn't TTWD/DD.

If you have more questions, feel free to ask.

      Blessings,
      Cat

  11. I love the 'E' card too!

Okay Cat, you asked for this - if you had any amount of money at your disposal, what car would you buy and why? And also, (apart from the black hairy things with eight legs) what are you most afraid of?

    Lots of hugs,

    Ami

    1. LOL Ami...can't imagine that you would love that card! ;)

I would buy a Jaguar XKR-S. I have a need for speed and it goes from 0-60 in 4.2 seconds! It also looks great! :D

I'm not afraid of the black hairy things with eight legs...I simply hate them and will go to any lengths to DESTROY them! Hmmm...Can't think of any thing I'm actually afraid of...will have to give that some more thought. If I think of anything, I will definitely let you know.

      Hugs and Blessings,
      Cat

  13. Hi Cat! You said you like to paint - what is your favorite medium? Oils, pastels, acylics, watercolors? And do you like to paint abstracts or landscapes...? :-) Hugs,Terps

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hey Terps...my favorite medium is acrylics. I prefer abstracts and expressionism over landscapes. I also love to add 3-D designs and/or Chinese characters before applying the paint. One of these days, I might post a few of mine...or maybe not. LOL

      Hope this answers your questions.

  16. Hi Cat, wow I learned so much about you reading this post- if you had to pick a favorite author who is it, and an artist?

    1. Hey Cathie...LOL Not sure if that's a good or bad thing. Oh wow...I love too many different authors and artists to choose one favorite...I could write a whole post with nothing but favorite authors and artists. ;) Sorry I'm not more helpful.
