  1. Eeeeek! ... hate!, hate! snakes! Had a cat bring one in once and a couple kiddos who used to wrangle snakes for fun ... much to their mother's dismay. When I run across one, I am so fast in the other I direction I am sure I am a blur! .... nj

  2. Same here! Just hate snakes. This picture gives me the creeps, even though the cat is very pretty. I love tabbies. I almost hit a child with my purse once when he came at me with a 6 foot bull snake.

My favorite tabby was a 23 lb. sweetie. More like a dog really. He couldn't catch anything because he was so fat.

  4. Wow, um, guess it shows we should show appreciation for the little things so that things don't get out of hand. :) Oh my goodness, not sure what it is about us women and snakes, but, EEEK! No thanks. :)

  8. Never had a cat. A long time ago someone we knew had a large snake (can't remember what sort of snake) and I held it and had it around my neck. Wished I'd had a picture taken.

    Love,

  9. Hi Cat,
A couple of years ago one of our cats did exactly that; gifted us with a brown snake. There was a panic when we discovered the snake in the house as it is the second most deadly snake based on its venom toxicity.

She survived a bite with extreme love and care from our brilliant team of vets.

  10. Lol, I have been that mom to cats, kids and dogs! Our boxers have brought us plenty.

"Hey, mommy, look what we caught!"

"Yeah, um, you guys know mommy really does NOT like snakes, right?"

Though I have to say I'm much better than I used to be!
