ReplyDeleteHaving been a teacher in a public school, I remember the staff joking that "Christmas" was the "C" word. No Christmas trees. No nativity stories. No singing carols. Trust me, Cat. I always found a way around all the stupid rules.
ReplyDeleteOnce, a very good little boy came in from recess crying and confessing that he had said the "f" word. I had no choice but to write a ticket, but I also gave him the honesty award for the week. Just loved that kid.
