LOL Irishey...we might run in the same Facebook circle but this one actually came to me via email about 6 months ago. ;)
DeleteOh and I have used something similar...called one night regarding a possible prowler...was told to sit tight they would have someone here as soon as they could but it might be a bit as there were a few other situations the officers were responding to.
I told dispatch that was fine...I had my gun fully loaded with hollow-points and if anyone tried to come in, I'd just shoot them. Told her to call me when the responding officers were at my door so I wouldn't accidentally shoot them. She asked me to remain on the line and then asked me to meet the officers at the door (without my gun) about 3 minutes later. LOL
