I Can Fix That

I received the following from our Sarah over at Clear As Mud and just had to share.   

Don't have a spoon?  I can fix that!

Seatbelt broken?  I can fix that!

New TV too big for the old cabinet?  I can fix that!

No bottle opener?  I can fix that! 

Room too dark?  I can fix that!

 

Electrical problem?  I can fix that!

Car stereo stolen?  I can fix that! 

Bookshelf cracking under the weight?  I can fix that!

Can't afford a real GPS?  I can fix that!

No ice chest?  I can fix that!

Can't read the ATM screen?  I can fix that!

Car imported from the wrong country?  I can fix that!

Satellite go out in the rain?  I can fix that!

Since I have satellite internet, would love it if this really worked!

Wiper motor burned out?  I can fix that!

Display rack falling over?  I can fix that!

Desk overloaded?  I can fix that!

Car can't be ordered with the "Woody" option?  I can fix that!

Exhaust pipe dragging?  I can fix that!

Gotta feed the baby AND do the laundry?  I can fix that!

Cables falling behind the desk?  I can fix that!
Actually have seen this on several DIY sites.

No skate park in town?  I can fix that!

Never  underestimate  power  of  engineering.  

Garden to Freezer

The in-laws gave us a bunch of corn from the garden to bag and freeze.

My wife left me in charge of labeling the bags saying "be sure to label the bags clearly so we know what's in them."

She was not impressed...

Well dang…she doesn’t have a very good sense of humor.  He actually dated and labeled each bag and spelled everything correctly!  What more did she want? 
This guy is priceless…definitely a keeper!

Helpful Cooking Hints...

…with a twist!  To keep potatoes from budding, place an apple in the bag with the potatoes. Buy Smash mashed potato mix. Keeps in the cupboard for up to a year. When a cake recipe calls for flouring the baking tin, use a bit of dry cake mix instead and there won't be any white mess on the outside of the cake.  Go to the bakery! Hell, they'll even decorate it for you! Wrap celery in aluminum foil when putting in the refrigerator and it will keep for weeks. Celery? Never heard of it! Cure for headaches: take a lime, cut it in half and rub it on your forehead. The throbbing will go away. Take a lime, mix it with tequila, chill and drink! All your pains go away! Don't throw out all that leftover wine. Freeze into ice cubes for future use in casseroles and sauces. Leftover wine???????  HELLO!!!!!!
