A French bee colony has been eating M&M candy waste which has made their honey blue and green.
Here's one of those honeycombs…

Interesting. :)
Welcome to my little corner of the world where you never know what you will find! It could be anything from a joke to a funny picture to a personal rant to a favorite recipe to an awesome quote to any random "bright idea" that pops into my mind.

Not sure I'll be eating any blue or green honey. :)

LOL... maybe they were trying to make honeycomb M&Ms....Just like the cripsy ones, only tastier :)
ReplyDeleteLOL Callie - good one.

Huh...I wonder why this never happens when I drink too many Blue Lagoons ?
ReplyDeleteROFL Willie - and you wonder why we blame everything on you!

Wow, that's kinda freaky.
ReplyDeleteIt is isn't it Susie! :)

Wow, indeed. I will ask my son.......ahem....the entomologist about this. (Sorry, it's not very often that I get to brag about that.....) He will talk for an hour and I won't understand what he says, but he will think I am super cool for knowing about it.... So, Thanks Cat.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the honey tastes like, and how it impacts the health of the hive?
Wouldn't it be a good thing if the M&M Candy factory planted a few acres of wildflowers and covered their candy waste in the interest of bee health?
Ooh Lillie - an etomologist? Color me impressed! Yes, please, ask him about this - would love to hear what he has to say.
DeletePlease remember to come back and tell us.
Hugs,
Cat
Very interesting. I would be interested in getting Lillie's son take on this.
ReplyDeleteI'm interested in hearing his answer also Sunny.
DeleteSee Lillie - Sunny wants to know also. :)
Hugs,
Cat
I too am curious about how the honey would taste. I would think that an M&M diet wouldn't be any healthier for the bees than it would be for me? Pretty interesting though.
ReplyDeleteGood questions Queenie - maybe Lillie's son will have these answers also.
DeleteHugs,
Cat
Ugh! I am going to go with....All that is left is the dye. I love M&Ms too. :-(
ReplyDeleteHoping Lillie comes back and let's us all know what her son has to say about this Minelle. Think I'll be staying away from green or blue honey. :)
