Now Would be Good

Many of our family members here in blog land are being hit or will be hit by tomorrow with the ice and snow that is covering the south and east portions of the United States.

Some of them are either without power and/or heat or are in danger of losing one or both.  No matter what your beliefs, please send them prayers and/or positive energy.

hey winter

Sending lots of prayers, positive energy and loving thoughts for all of you in harms way.

If y'all have power along with internet and can read this, please stay safe!

  2. Thanks, I'm in the middle of it now. But for me personally I'm loving it. I'm off work and my hubby is taking tomorrow off too. We have power and plenty of snacks as well as real food. I wish for everyone to be in as good a situation as we are.

    1. Hey Roz...I've managed to stay safe and warm and never lost power so all good here. Hope all our other family here came through in good condition...that includes all our family that are being 'flooded' and/or 'blown away' right now. How are you doing? Hope you stay safe.

  5. Hi Cat, whatever is happening to the world, I hope everyone is okay over there. In England we are besieged by rain and wind. Large areas are flooded, even the Thames has burst it's banks now. Our military is helping but nature seems to be unstoppable everywhere. Stay safe all of you

    1. Perfect description and quote Sunny! :) Cat- we have another snow day around here today. As beautiful as it is- I'm going to fantasize about white sandy beaches instead of spankings for a while. On second thought, white sandy beaches and warm sexy spankings sound kinda good together. LOL!

Stay warm, cozy and safe you all!

      Many hugs,

      <3 Katie

  7. Definitely! I feel so bad that so many are having such bad weather conditions. I often don't comment but I do think of them, pray for them, send loving thoughts. I guess I feel guilty because where I live it is almost always warm and beautiful. We only deal with hurricanes here.

    1. Hey Sara...no reason to feel guilty because you are blessed to live in a lovely place. Sure not your fault Mother Nature needs a ton of Valium! All we can do is what you are doing...sending prayers and loving thoughts.

  8. Strange weather everywhere. The UK is being battered by heavy storms and strong winds.

    Keep safe everyone.

  9. Yup. Iced in without power here. We've got a generator for the essentials. Looking forward to being in the 70's next week!

  10. I'm praying everyone affected by the snowstorms, ice, uncommonly cold temps, winds, rains and flooding is staying safe, warm and dry. Perhaps we need to conduct a roll call, so we can see all our friends are safe?

I still love the snow, and am happy to see it. While I don't like being on the highway with people who don't know how to drive on snowy roads, I was so glad to have mounds of it in my yard the past couple weeks. Our well ran dry, twice, and is still recovering. I've been melting snow to do everything when there is no water, and keep big bins and buckets full to flush toilets even when we have water, just to conserve what we have in the well. Snow baby, keep on snowin'! ;-)

    1. Oh goodness Irishey! Hope your well has recovered! If we could find a way to truck it to you, I would happily donate all my snow and ice to the cause! We are forecast for a lot of rain this week and then more snow next weekend...hope you get the rain to help your well!

I've had to keep what limited internet access I've had for my work so haven't been able to put up a roll call. Will try to do so tomorrow just to check on everyone. Thanks for the idea.
