Welcome to my little corner of the world where you never know what you will find! It could be anything from a joke to a funny picture to a personal rant to a favorite recipe to an awesome quote to any random "bright idea" that pops into my mind.
I pick them up (with a tissue or paper towel, of course) and put them outside. It makes Ray crazy because he swears they are just going to come back inside.
Oh no, spiders (shudder). Many years ago I stood transfixed by a spider for two hours, rather than step over it to go through the narrow archway where it sat. Well, it was huge and might have run up my leg! Harry was bemused by my terror but he rescued me and put the spider out. We live in the countryside now, so I've had to get used to them, but I still don't like them. Rosie x
LOL. Dead spiders are still spiders. Dragon has to throw the dead spider away. It has to go outside to the garbage, not just in the kitchen garbage. even a dead spider is still scary.
LOL Rose...Sorry dead spiders scare you...happy Dragon is willing to throw them in the outside garbage for you. I'm lucky I don't have a problem squishing and trashing spiders as I don't have anyone to do it for me. ;)
In our house only white tail spiders are killed (their bite can cause necrosis and sepsis), the other ones are relocated. And with the little hunter spiders, we don't even bother anymore. They're now all called "Henry" and that helps. "Mamaaaa, spider!" - "Oh, that's just Henry. Henry's OK." - "OK."
Okay Willow...I will let you take the time to identify your spiders and decide which to kill, which to relocate and which to leave alone. Me...if a spider trespasses in my house, it better hide good because I will kill it. Oh and my kitties love to kill them also. :D
I can relate to wanting them all dead, that was me in the past. It's just that the hunter spiders really don't do anything but eat flies, don't make webs, and it's less work to just leave one in each room and do its job rather than trying to keep the house completely spider free. Next day, there'd be another one anyway...

ReplyDeleteI agree with Ray, Sunny! Kill those buggers! :D

Love these Cat, I absolutely hate spiders and usually scream and make Rick get rid of them lol. He always puts them outside too.

Roz
LOL No need to scream, Roz...just smash the heck out of those suckers. No, Rick...we do not just place them outside so they can come back in! :)

I hate to kill spiders so I'm the same as SG, I pick them up and put them outside.

Just remember, Ronnie...when you put them outside, they will probably come back in. ;)

DeleteI can hardly go near a spider! Ugh.... Shivers!
ReplyDeleteI have no problem with killing them, Minelle...my only problem is that sometimes I get a bit forceful and have put a few dents in the walls. ;)
