If you've ever worked in customer service you'll, unfortunately, relate to these horrendous moments in the world of dealing with people. They might bring back bad, bad memories, but they'll make you laugh at the same time. It's always nice to see that someone else is struggling just as hard as you did once upon a time (or like you are right now, and I'm sorry).
Here are some moments in customer service history that will make you laugh and maybe cry a little:

I truly have to wonder about some people. *sigh*
I wonder too Cat! But after the year I've had.... I believe this stuff is happening a lot!
ReplyDeleteOh I definitely believe them Minelle and the saddest are the ones where the parents are being such a bad example for their kiddos.

I have seen some of this happen but have been lucky that I have never worked in customer service. I would probably have been jailed for assault if I had. Thanks for the laughs. Lisa
ReplyDeleteI have worked and taught customer service Lisa and there have been several times I have had to put people on hold and kick the trash can before I could continue.

So happy that I don't work retail.
ReplyDeleteI have worked retail in the past Rose and it is amazing to me that I've never assaulted some of the more obnoxious customers. :D

Hi Cat, loved the doctor and the boy best too. I think that some people in customer service deserve an award for keeping their calm in those moments.
ReplyDeleteSome people are so rude and impertinent that I wonder how this could possibly be. ... But they are great to serve as bad examples. :)
hugs
Nina
So happy you enjoyed these Nina...one of the first rules I teach in customer service is "No matter how mean and rude people are, DON'T take it personally!" Oh yes, they do serve as excellent bad examples. ;)

Grifters. Sheesh. I never will understand wanna-be criminals who bring their kids along to witness their machinations, dishonesty and crimes. Are they conducting training?! Smh.
ReplyDeleteI agree Irishey...ya do have to wonder if they are starting the training young. What's really sad is when the children are more honest than the parents!
