Welcome to my little corner of the world where you never know what you will find! It could be anything from a joke to a funny picture to a personal rant to a favorite recipe to an awesome quote to any random "bright idea" that pops into my mind.

Kitty Giggles
Thought I'd just share a few giggles for hump day. ;)
The "you're home early" one is funny. My dog does a similar thing. He also likes to tear up toilet paper and make tidy little mounds all over the house.
So happy you enjoyed these Kenzie...too bad you don't live in my neighborhood. People keep dumping animals in the country and I have a real lover who needs a forever home...she's living in my garage...I just can't leave her out in the cold!
Do you know if your rescued lover-ly cat is a good mouser, consistently uses the kitty litter box, and never has tried to jump on your kitchen counters or shred your drapes and furniture? If so, I might be interested.
I know that sounds really conditional, but D truly is not enamored with cats, and I know he would not tolerate some behaviors. I worked hard with previous kittens to ensure they grew up knowing which of my own pet peeves were not allowed.
We occasionally get a mouse that sneaks in our house, which makes me batty and I start looking for kittens each time. D immediately sets traps to ward off my acquiring a kitten to deter and combat the evil rodents. I despise finding mouse droppings, chewed food packages or nesting attempts. Gah.
I actually think mice are very cute. I've even had pet mice. However, the field mice are not welcome in my house. Ever. No exceptions. Never Ever. Period. :-)
Maybe we should talk? If conditions are favorable, I will brave my dragon on behalf of your fur friend who needs a good home.
Hey Irishey...don't know if she's a good mouser but she does live in my garage and I haven't seen any mice out there...she does love to catch birds and pluck them. LOL Since it has been so cold, I fixed a litter box for her and she does use it. She's extremely skittish until she gets to know you and even then she can get scared easily and her comfort zone is high up. I have some 8 foot shelves in my garage and that's where she likes to stay. I have a cart (about 3 foot high) that I feed all the stray cats on (just to make sure I'm not feeding any other critters) and she jumps from it to the top of the shelves. If I allowed her in the house, her favorite place would probably be a cat tower I have but that is Stormy's favorite place to stay so that would be WW 3 in my house!
Ooh I hate rodents of any kind! None allowed in my house pet or otherwise! LOL
Most cats (there are exceptions LOL) can be trained and I do believe that Skits (named her Skittish and call her Skits or Skitalee) could be trained. The main thing would be to provide her with a high safe place.
If you truly want to make her a part of your family, give me a call.
