The city said in an order that the Christmas season, "qualifying as a holiday for children and families, requires sobriety in urban decorations," in particular when using "traditional symbols that distinguish Christmas."
Norma Rossetti, who launched an Italian sex toy e-commerce website this year, said Friday she complied immediately with the order. But she defended the so-called "Tree of Pleasure" saying the objects chosen were elegant and not obviously X-rated. She said her goal is to break down taboos by making sex toys "completely normal everyday objects."

In my neighbourhood the people would STEAL those decorations I'm sure!

I definitely think a few would go missing. No, even with no kids around I wouldn't decorate a tree with sex toys but maybe one of two erotic ornaments:)

Okay call me a prood but not on a "Christmas" tree. In the fun little sex shop I blush in, fine. But then the sign in the fun little sex shop reads, "Please don't laugh and condemn. Your yuck may be my yumm."

LOL Clara...love your "In the fun little sex shop I blush in..." I would definitely not use it as my main aka public tree...I enjoy my ornaments and such...but it could be a fun in the bedroom as Roz suggested. ;)
