You know one day Lucy and I were talking about the therapeutic use of the F word. I said it is like verbally putting your fist through the wall. Mind you both fell great AT. THE. TIME...after, well there is pain involved. ESPECIALLY for us ;) Well more Lucy than angelic me of course *wink*

willie
*feel great not fell
DeleteYou and Lucy are so right Willie...cursing can be very therapeutic. Ya just gotta get creative so that you receive the therapy without the pain!
Delete*snort*...you are not really gonna try to convince me that is angelic halo over your head?!? :D

Wouldn't it be nice if blogger had an edit button for for comments! Wonder if they have a suggestion box...got more than a few suggestions. ;)
DeleteI think that all the time! NO, not about my halo, that I wished they had an edit button. Of course I could just get better at proof reading...pffft.
DeleteCat, what a great word, thanks! I saw a TV show once where an experiment was conducted to test pain tolerance. Individuals would immerse their hand in frigid water and see how long they could stand it. The initial time they were silent. The second time they would shout foul language and were able to withstand the icy water longer!
ReplyDeleteIn the course of normal events I rarely use foul language, but if I smash my toe on the chair or something, I will vocalize a string of expletives without hesitation! Thanks for giving me a "medical" excuse!
hugs,
George
Hey George...that's an interesting experiment and I can believe it...pain seems to lessen when I curse...even when it's under my breath! :D
DeleteHappy to be of service! ;)

Cat
Oh btw George. I saw a similar experiment on Myth Busters. They were trying to disprove that women have a higher pain tolerance than men. LOL. Women 'won' again. Poor HoHs !
DeleteUnfortunately there will be none of this in this house as it has already been spanked out of me :(. Nice word though, I might use it instead of the usual varieties!.
ReplyDeleteLove Jan,xx
LOL Jan...do you need some of my creative curses? My doctor thought they were very interesting! :D
