Stressed to the Max

We all have times of stress. Just remember - it is only temporary!

  1. Cat - your beautiful posts often seem like they are speaking directly to me. Thanks so much for the "ahhhhhh" I almost always experience when I drop by.
It is like this place smells like my Mom"s cookies :)

    1. What a sweet thing to say Lillie. Thank you. Once you finish your diet, come on over and I'll pop some chocolate chip/walnut cookies in the oven. ;-)

  2. Hi, Cat. This is very true, and good to remember. I've also found that sometimes things can wear on us and we let ourselves fall out of the good habits we had long, long ago, and develop not-so-good ways of coping instead. Sometimes, one has to look way back to see the core of who we really are, before we can keep moving forward again.

When I come here and visit you, I can bask for a moment in this refreshing air, take a deep cleansing breath, and smile. Somewhat like Lillie said, I catch a whiff of freshly baked cookies wafting in the wind. It feels kinda homey-warm and welcoming here. :-)

  3. Yep, stress chisels away at our good intentions for handling our less than stellar automatic responses.
This is a good reminder to take things in stride.

  4. Oh boy did I need this this morning!- as I was banging around the kitchen wishing I had all the answers like my teenage son seems to have all the time!

BTW now I want cookies! Thanks for that ladies! :( LOL

    2. Ok Wilma - when Lillie and Irishey come over and I pop some chocolate chip/walnut cookies in the oven, you can join them. :)

Teenage sons always seem to think they have all the answers - think it's the nature of the breed. ;-)

      Blessings,
