Welcome to my little corner of the world where you never know what you will find! It could be anything from a joke to a funny picture to a personal rant to a favorite recipe to an awesome quote to any random "bright idea" that pops into my mind.
So true, Cat. I remember someone telling me that childbirth was one of the most intense pains a woman can feel, and the easiest to forget. One look at those little faces, and all strife dissipates and just leaves love behind. Thanks for the smile, Cat :D
I never did like that Murphy guy very much - his laws caused me no end of aggravations. I didn't even know he had mother laws - explains soooo much. Gggrrrrr. Lol!
I didn't mind all the icky stuff. I loved my kids being little, and I knew what the teen years would bring. My youngest is almost 12, so I'm sad to be through her baby years. But, I have grandchildren! I call them "my borrow babies" because I can give them back whenever I want to, but I'd just keep them if I could. ;-)
Personally, I've always thought we needed to find that particular Murphy and kick his tushie - he makes the darndest laws. :D
That's the best part of being a grandparent isn't Irishey, getting to "borrow" those babies and then return them. Seriously, I know what you mean - I would keep mine if I thought my son and DIL would let me. :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for the smile, Cat :D
I agree Lillie - childbirth really is the easiest pain to forget when you look at your child and just feel the love.

Who would have thought, during that time, that you would miss it so once it was gone ? The greatest gift Barney has ever given me was motherhood.
